Hi Teressa-

Small world! I've never met any Haefeles not related to myself. We're from Southern Germany way back at some point too, so who knows? Possible connection :) And our pronunciation is exactly the same - I accept either way.

Mike-

Thanks and Congrats! To be more accurate, I'm from Fairport. So hi, neighbor :)

Hey Chad,

Cool site and helpful blog (I just found it today as a referal from another blog). It seems you and I are interested in similar things. I currently live in Penfield ('burb of rochester) and recently landed a systems librarian job in the adirondacks that starts this fall. Love the whole "how technology and libraries" can work to improve user services theme. Just wanted to give a quick hello and encourage you. You're doing a great job.

Nice to meet you Chad, I found you doing a flickr search of my own last name, wondering if there were any pix of me up there, guess not, but there you were in full force. I have never met another Haefele, (besides the ones I grew up with) how do you pronounce it? We pronounce it hay-flee, or hay-fuh-lee. My Haefeles are mostly based out of Northern California, having originated 4 generations ago from Chicago and before that, somewhere in Southern Germany. Good luck finding a job.

wow, thanks Roberta!

Unfortunately I won't have my degree until August, otherwise I'd put something in before the deadline.

And as I keep telling everyone, I'm willing to relocate anywhere :)

Hi Chad-

I know you are looking for a job and we just posted a position for a Systems Librarian at the Montana State Library. It seems like it would be a good fit for you, but it is in Montana! Here is a link to the posting http://www.pnla.org/jobs/j34.htm
