tell you what, before you decide if you need widgets, get yourself a mac mini, or any mac, but a mini is fine as it will be worth your while, cos its inexpensive and you’ll also thank me for suggesting it. AFTER that download all the widgetsyou can find on the web, and you’ll thank me for telling you this, cos I’ve just changed your life, and so the question of whether you need widgets DOES NOT come up.

Well, what does it take to make a widget? I’ll happily contribute what I know about searching III and Dynix web catalogs! What about an EBSCO search, or a customizable widget that will work with confederated searching?

I want a widget. But I’m afraid my mental image of a widget, as a furry little animal with a black button nose, would be magically projected into my hard-drive, thus screwing my computer to hell… again. Let me know what your thoughts on this are. Cheers.
