Hi, other Chad!

Thanks for the compliments. I buy far more used games now than new, and it saves me a bunch of money. There's plenty of older games I still haven't gotten around to playing. The Greatest Hits titles alone would probably occupy me for decades to come!

I've been meaning to put together my thoughts on the upcoming console wars, so thanks for the reminder. I'll see about putting together a longer post soon, but in general I think Nintendo came out of E3 on top this year by far. I do agree on the PS3 cost being prohibitive - assuming the projected $200-$250 price point for Nintendo's Wii is correct, you'll almost be able to buy both a low end Xbox 360 and a Wii for the cost of the high end PS3!

Chad, I enjoyed your review of an older game. I'm a casual gamer, and I can appreciate seeing reviews of older (and more affordable) games. Your review prompted me to look at other reviews around the net for BG&E, and most thought it was a good game. I think a lot of us will still be playing some of the older games, particularly those of us with PS2's who won't be able to afford (or justify) paying for a Playstation 3 anytime soon. I'm still playing the PS2 Greatest Hits titles.

On another note, I was wondering what your take is on the next-gen console wars. Who would you say was the winner of E3? Most of what I've read is that the biggest loser was Sony, but most of those reviews are based on the price of the PS3. What are your thoughts and how do you see the next-gen console war playing out?
