I began playing video games when I was 5, so I've seen pretty much every idea run six feet into the ground, buried under strata of marginally better graphics, sound, and gameplay options--and around last year I decided to take a break from the whole stagnant mess (a rather unfortunate choice to make on the eve of my move to Japan). But the Wii looks fun and different enough for me to give video games another try. Now if only Bethsesda would bring out Oblivion for it...
