That controller looks very cool - I thought after seeing it's versatility tit was be wireless, and it doesn't seem to be. I like the versatility.

The name is growing on me. I like the implication for group playthe "we" sound, coupled with the ii's that look like kinda like little people...

The average consumer will have to have HD TV by Feb 17 2009 the FCC hath decreed the switch from analog to digital is occuring on this date. You've got some time yet. :)

Speaking of G4... they just re-tooled Attack of the Show this week. I hadn't seen it in a long time, so I decided to give it a look, just to see just how much farther departed it is from its (stolen) roots. Oh how I long for the old days... the podcast will have to do. And the big shocker of them all... Sarah Lane married Brendan Moran.

Yeah, the Wii's controller looked gimmicky to me at first, but after watching and reading about a few demonstrations (and seeing it lauded by the delightfully jaded Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb), my mind started to change. I began playing video games when I was 5, so I've seen pretty much every idea run six feet into the ground, buried under strata of marginally better graphics, sound, and gameplay options--and around last year I decided to take a break from the whole stagnant mess (a rather unfortunate choice to make on the eve of my move to Japan). But the Wii looks fun and different enough for me to give video games another try. Now if only Bethsesda would bring out Oblivion for it...
