I intended to say "Use open source where it works"--that is, to pay attention to open source software, but not to use it if it's clearly not up to your needs. I think "really genuinely" suggests more skepticism than I was intending--but hey, you were listening and I was speaking, so I may very well have said exactly what you wrote. Good notes in general, and I think the mix of two ongoing trendsters, two new ones, and two "cameo returnees" (JFW and WC) worked well.
