Summary
Previous research identified a need for users to generate trustworthy, correctly formatted citations in a variety of styles. We interviewed and surveyed users to determine needs for this tool, provided guidance to the developers who built it, and conducted user testing to make sure it met their needs. The Citation Builder generates more than 100,000 citations per year.
